A year ago, pizza was the fanciest Italian food you could find in Fishers. Starting tonight Friday night, you can get Tuscan seafood stew, pork loin stuffed with provolone cheese and so much pasta, including fettuccini alfredo, at the new Sangiovese.
The restaurant is the latest opening at The Yard at Fishers District, 9708 District North Dr., and one more reason why the complex is quickly becoming among the Indianapolis area's most exciting foodie destinations. Sangiovese has been a favorite on Indianapolis' north side since 1994, debuting at River's Edge shopping center and then later moving to Ironworks, both on 86th Street near Keystone Avenue.
