A family of restaurateurs is bringing a slice of Italian life to downtown Howell with a new pizzeria, restaurant and bar, which will feature two courts for bocce ball, an Italian pastime. Coratti's Pizzeria Bar and Bocce will open for lunch and dinner May 3 at 316 E. Grand River Ave., co-owner Peter Coratti said.
The Corattis have completed an extensive remodel, which brought new life to a long-vacant former business office for First National Bank. They purchased the 5,885-square-foot building from the bank and added about 1,000 square feet on the front.
