Italian food is one of those specialties that it seems like just about everybody loves. Really, when you combine cheese, tomatoes, pastas, and breads, nothing can go wrong. We're lucky enough to have some pretty amazing Italian restaurants in Kansas, but if you want the best of the best, a visit to Garozzo's is a good bet.
This family-owned restaurant has been around since 1989 and has two Kansas City-area locations, with an Overland Park branch right here in the Sunflower State. Check it out: St. Louis native Michael Garozzo began his career as a busboy, but by 1989, he had opened his first Garozzo's restaurant in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The Overland Park location (pictured) would follow.
