To Our Frontline Heroes, I send this letter on behalf of the officers and members of the Columbian Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1941. The Foundation is an Italian-American philanthropic organization dedicated to serving the needs of our community for nearly 80 years. The Columbian Foundation is comprised of professional men from various fields including the law and medical profession, fire and law enforcement officers, as well as other business professionals.

The Columbian Foundation is sending this small token of Italian pastries and specialties to the members of your dedicated staff who are working tirelessly on the front lines to help defeat this virus and care for those who are unable to care for themselves during this unprecedented pandemic. It is our humble gesture with the hopes of making their day a little brighter.

We would like you to know that although we may not be there with you physically, we recognize the extraordinary sacrifice each of you make every day when you leave your home and family to go to work. Once again, on behalf of the entire membership of the Columbian Foundation as well as the coordinator of this effort, member of the Board of Trustees Anthony Iacullo, Esq., Treasurer Anthony Iuso, Member Antonio Prioletti, and Member Dr. Richard Guarino, may God continue to bless you and your families, and God speed on your mission of taking care of those who are so in need of your services right now. Simply put, thank you and Happy Easter.

As we say in Italian, grazie and Buona Pasqua.

Columbian Foundation President, John G. Centanni; Board of Trustees Anthony Iacullo, Esq.; Treasurer Anthony Iuso; and Member Antonio Prioletti prepares the Calandra's Bakery delivery of pastries to frontline workers who are battling the COVID-19 crisis.
