This is regarding the celebration of Italian culture that took place at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, Union City, on Oct. 11. The event was sponsored by Mayor and state Sen. Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners. And it was co-hosted and coordinated by Mr. Renard Petronzio, a former city resident.
Members of the Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, of which I am a proud member and secretary, were on hand, including Mr. Gerard Karabin, our local historian and curator, and Ms. Jane Pendeer, whose family goes back to the "old" Union City Fire Department.
