Italian Genealogy Research will be the topic when The Genealogical Society of the West Fields welcomes Anthony Festa at their meeting on Feb. 12, at the Westfield Memorial Library at 1 p.m.
Festa will outline basic Italian research in a three-part presentation. He will explore strategies for determining the home village in Italy from which an ancestor hailed, which is critical in beginning to reach back in time in Italy for effective research.
