"Italian Genealogy: From the Basics to Busting the Inevitable Brick Walls" will be topic of the next Family History Interest Group (FHIG) meeting, which will be held from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge.
Genealogist Anthony Festa will discuss how best to begin an Italian heritage search, covering records and information available in the United States as well as those in Italy. He will also relate how he overcame some commonly encountered brick walls and tackled certain research issues. Examples and case studies from his own family will illustrate his presentation.
