Livingston resident Pasquale “Pat” Campanile, an active member of the Livingston chapter of UNICO National, received proclamations from the Livingston Township Council and the State of New Jersey and the 27th Legislative District on Tuesday after being named Livingston’s 2024 UNICAN of the Year for his dedication to the local chapter of the country’s largest Italian American service organization.
Alongside his wife, Mickey, Campanile is known among chapter members serving as donations chairperson, recruiting sponsors for the annual Citizen of the Year event, organizing the annual Christmas party, submitting content about UNICO accomplishments and promotional materials to local publications including “The Italian Tribune,” achieving near-perfect attendance at board meetings, membership meetings and district meetings and more.
