Good Mornin’! Good Mornin’! The Delta – an area filled with folks from all walks of life. The rich Delta soil has been home to folks who came from far away to begin a new life for their families. Many can point back to several generations and can also pinpoint their beginnings across the ocean in tiny Italian villages.
In the late 1800s, they came to the Delta seeking a new life and many were mistreated and looked down upon and discriminated against. But they persevered, they dug in, the grew roots, they multiplied and slowly bought land, then more and more acres piled up. Some had grocery stores and then began restaurants – many are anchors across the Delta for family and visitors to have a great night out.
