Dear Members and Friends, we hope everyone has been able to continue recovering and remain safe and sound in the aftermath of Harvey. We'd like to thank everyone who reached out to let us know how you were doing and checked in on us to make sure all staff members and the Milford House was safe.
Now it's our turn to do what we can for all those who continue to struggle in the aftermath. The ICCC will be collecting non-perishable goods (i.e. canned foods, dried beans, rice, and cereal) to be delivered to the Houston Food Bank. Collection days will be Wednesday, September 13 and Thursday, September 14 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. We hope all of our members that are willing and able to donate food items will be able to come by the ICCC to donate and help those who are still in need.
If you are unable to make it to the ICCC because of road conditions or other factors and would like to give financially, we encourage you to donate to JJ Watt's Houston Flood Relief Fund or Mayor Sylvester Turner and Judge Ed Emmett's Hurrican Harvey Relief Fund.
Let's all come together as one ICCC family to make a difference in the lives of thousands of displaced and hungry individuals!
