One of these days, and it will happen, there will be a chill to the air. When that happens, and as your favorite beach chair and sunblock go into hibernation, head to LaScala's Fire in Marlton.
The restaurant, located in the spot Harry & David left empty at The Promenade at Sagemore, is like a mini-getaway to South Beach, Italian-style. On the day I visited, the heat index in South Jersey was hovering around 108 degrees in the shade. I'll be honest, the word "Fire'' in the name wasn't really what I was after.
