Primo Hoagies, a New Jersey chain known for its Italian-style sandwiches and seeded bread, is opening in Columbia on Tuesday. And the franchisees behind the new store want to open more in the area.
Mike Gioioso, a MacKenzie Retail LLC broker behind the Columbia deal, said the franchisee, who MacKenzie isn't naming, is now looking for two other locations in the next year and a half, preferably in Bel Air and the Towson-Hunt Valley area. He said that Columbia wasn't originally in the plans but the space opened up and it was tough to refuse the location in the Dobbin Center Plaza.
