
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the launch of the virtual assistant ("chatbot") of the Farnesina website and the websites of embassies and consulates, "paves the way for the application of artificial intelligence in diplomacy". The director general for Italians abroad and migration policies said this, Luigi Vignali, in today's presentation event in Rome.
“This is an innovative tool to improve relations with the public and services aimed at users, following the line of our minister Tajani which puts assistance to compatriots abroad first", stated the secretary general of the Farnesina, the ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, underlining that the Italian administration is among the first to develop it.
