Many are the Italian cities where every year local traditions are carried on and events are held to celebrate the festivities. Here are some of Central Italy’s Christmas markets that come to life every year in the month of December. Here it is possible to find many gift ideas or local and traditional products. Furthermore, you will live the magic of Christmas in the streets and in the squares of the towns that for the occasion put up all the decorations and lights.
According to tradition in Emilia Romagna Christmas markets open on 8 December and carry on until early January. Many are the towns in this region where every year Christmas villages come to life. Amon Central Italy’s prettiest Christmas markets there is undoubtedly the one of Santa Lucia in Bologna which is also the oldest. Then there is also the one in Minghetti Square.
