The Italian American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County Celebrates its 35th Anniversary. During the 1970s, Vittorio Russo, proprietor of a fine Italian restaurant known as the Clinton Point Inn, established an Italian Club by canvassing local businesses owned by persons with Italian sounding names. The club was for men and had a business flavor and emphasized social functions, service to the community and scholarships to local students.
During 1981, a Women's Auxiliary was established and the two clubs cooperated in social outings, trips to Atlantic City, dinner-theater outings, picnics, festas, etc.
