While Lauren Turano of Cedar Grove may or may not continue playing tennis and golf when she arrives at Villanova University next month, one thing is for sure, she will long be remembered as one of the best athletes in the recent history of Mount Saint Dominic Academy.
In just her junior and senior seasons, Turano helped the golf team win four championships, while the tennis team finished second in 2014 and won its first ever Super Essex Conference/Liberty Division championship in '15. Turano was voted First Team All-Conference honors in tennis as a sophomore, junior and senior and Second Team All-North Jersey Girls Golf League status as an 11th- and 12th-grader.
